In Health, we study many important topics! We learn about personal health care, growth and development, the body systems and how they work, emotional and intellectual health, physical activity and fitness, My Plate, and alcohol, tobacco, and drugs.
In April, we will begin a Minnesota Lake Ecology unit. We will study fresh water lakes and streams, water properties, the water cycle, food chains, pollution, non-native species, and how to classify and test a lake. In May, we will attend the Fresh Water Fair at the Pine County Fairgrounds. It is a wonderful opportunity to bring to life everything we have learned in Lake Ecology!
